A little while ago I got some requests for some awesome merch stuff so I'm currently working on a little webshop with some awesome stuff like stickers and other merch! (yes, yes, also fannypacks )
Got a pretty clever domain for a few bucks
I'll keep the costs as low as possible and all profit goes towards mstdn and related services ofc!❤️
It's all fully automated and wordwide shipping within a few days (maybe a week or so sometimes)
I'll share the URL later
Alrighty.. so about 5 hours in and I have a little something to show for
Only added 3 products for now, they do all work and are serious but I had to setup the whole shop first 💪
Still got a lot of work but I would love some feedback in the meantime
The domain I found is...
I thought "bz" like in buzzzziness or whatever. At least nice and short
Its original version is known as The Landlord’s Game, created by Elizabeth Magie in 1903, a follower of the economist Henry George who designed the game to illustrate the economic consequences of Ricardo’s Law of economic rent and the Georgist concepts of economic privilege and land value taxation.
The game was intended to demonstrate that an economy rewarding individuals is better than one where monopolies hold all the wealth.

AltText: A New Yorker style cartoon of a person in a cave in front of a bank of dozens of monitors, with various technodross around.
Another person and their apparent child stand by, and they are saying the quote of
"Hey, honey, the second monitor was one thing, but it seems like quite the slippery slope from home office to evil lair."

And, I thought about this yesterday...wouldn't it be nice that if the places that can take these items, break them down and recycle the parts...were more prolific and convenient to get to?
"On February 13, 1919, a reader in Colorado checked out Ivanhoe, Walter Scott’s historical romance novel, from the Fort Collins Public #Library and Free Reading Room.
"A few months ago, the book was finally returned to the library—now named the Poudre River Public Library District—105 years after its due date.
“It came to us from an unnamed woman who [got it from] from her brother, who found it in their mom’s belongings in Kansas,”

Anybody knows where to get good Internet traffic statistics these days? I'm interested in the protocol mix seen in the backbone, not absolute numbers.
What percentage of the traffi is #HTTP, #HTTPS, #DNS, #SMTP, #IMAP, #FTP, #SIP, #RTP, … these days?
#Caida had some traces, but the latest I know are from 2012, which is not helpful.

I know Doug, he is one of the few that can and does provide much needed and useful insight.
I, and my colleagues (at Netscout), may in fact be able to do some increasingly more as well, but I can't promise how precise and specific that will be.
John, that would be great! I don't think precision and specificity right now, just some order-of-magnitude numbers (or, rough relative importance). Of course, I wouldn't mind having percentages attached to it, but anything is fine right now to make me super happy! 😊
